Things about me you probably don't really care to know but are going to hear about anyway.

I just want to celebrate

The screaming that came from my living room last night is still ringing in my ears. Today is officially Barry Bonds day here in San Francisco. I do have to say though that I am super bummed that outta all the Giants fans that were there, a Met's fan walked away with the ball. Unreal.

The humpty dance is your chance to do the hump

So I have been having something very interesting going on my household lately regarding my cat. I wasn't sure what to do about it, but I went online and typed it in a search engine and I found the following, which describes my latest situation to perfection:

By: Lisa (how funny her name is also Lisa!!!)
Date: 10/15/2004
Subject: my cat is mounting and humping things!

"I have a 3 1/2 year old neutered male cat. He was neutered when he was young, he is the only cat in the household and has never exhibited this behavior before. About a week ago, he started to paw at things with both front paws, then he would "mount" the object and start "humping" it. He purrs as he does this and I turned him over the first time he did it & saw that he actually had an erection! He first started doing it to my fleece jacket, then pillows, and now seems fond of a stuffed animal gorilla! If he had only done it once, I wouldn't have worried, but he did it 6 times in the span of a couple hours on Friday. He has done it at least a couple of times each day since (and that's just what I've seen when I get back from work!). I have heard that when neutered cats mount, it is often a display of dominance, but there are no other animals in the house. I've also heard that "humping" things may be a sign of a urinary tract infection, but I don't know what the other symptoms would be and he doesn't seem ill or in pain. Any other ideas? Is this normal behavior? Is it normal for it to start after age 3? And, he's not just mounting, but actually simulating sex! Is that normal for a neutered cat? Is it just a phase he'll 'grow out of'? Please let me know what you think... Thanks!"

And here was the answer from the cat "expert":

"Yes this is normal. All altered cats still enjoy sex. Altered females will still allow a male cat to mount them and even penetrate them. Will he grow out of it? Maybe not, that really depends on the cat. Is it normal to start after age 3? Sure! Maybe he is just now sexually mature! Is it a sign of dominance? YES!!! And it has nothing to do with other animals at all. He is feeling his manhood!

There really isnt anything you can do to make him stop, other then hide everything he humps, but if he is only aggressive towards the objects, there isn't any harm in what he is doing. Its embarassing when you have guests, but, yes its totally normal!"

Sooooo.....my cat isn't humping a stuffed gorilla, but a stuffed frog. I took the frog away, and then he moved to my nice new couch, so I brought the frog back. He does his thing for about 5 minutes, and then he licks himself for another 5 minutes,(which has been tons of fun explaining to my 5 year old daughter what he is doing) and then he gets back on the frog! He does this all day long. It's grossing me out! I had 3 other male cats before and none of them did this. Has anybody else had this happen to them?

I'll have to take a picture of Spooky and his frog girlfriend next time he gets busy and update this post. Don't worry it will be PG-13. I'll spare you the licking. :rotfl:

**UPDATE** Here's the pictures I promised. He finally let me take a picture of him "doing it". Everytime he would jump on, I would grab the camera and he knew what I was doing and would run away! Seems like he got over his camera shyness now however.

Spooky and his girlfriend, Frog.Spooky and his girlfriend, Frog.

Forgive me if this poll has been created already recently, but that's part of my point. Does anybody else feel overwhelmed on Sugar lately? I remember when Celebrity Popsugar was the only page. I thought Team was a great addition. And then all of a sudden...WHAM. I just can't keep up, and if I don't happen to sign on for a couple of days, I miss out on polls and suites and blogs. It's making me not want to come on here because of all of it. Anybody else feel me on this one? Please tell me I'm not the only one! :)

So this morning I woke up at 4 AM not able to sleep. So I turn on Vh1. And on comes a new video by Fergie called "Fergalicious". I like the old song that she remixed into this one so I thought I would give it a try. I think I threw up in my mouth a little and I definately could NOT go back to sleep in fear of the monster named Fergie would haunt me in my sleep. This video definately takes the cake. Literally. Happy Halloween, because this is about to scare your pants off. Oh Josh, what in the world does she have on you??!!

Dream a little dream?

Do you have lots of dreams? Do you remember them in visual detail? Take my little poll and share! I'll start. :)

My sugar theme song

Posted By radarkitty on Oct 6, 2006 at 8:55AM

This song is pretty new so the band has not made a video for it yet, and I can't WAIT until they do! The song is called "High School Never Ends" by the band Bowling For Soup and I have to say it's pretty hilarious. This video is one that was made by some teenager somewhere and she did a pretty great job. It must have taken her awhile. Nice to see she's using some creative energy. Anyway, make sure you watch through at least the second verse because I love the Tom Cruise reference! I am making it my sugar theme song!

I don't know what it is, but I just LOVE this video. The song is pretty good too! :) Just felt the need to spread the word.

Corey Haim or Corey Feldman?

Posted By radarkitty on Sep 24, 2006 at 3:00PM

If you were a child of the 80's, you know you liked them. License to Drive popped in my head today and I wondered who would be the more popular Corey. They are disgusting and vile these days, but who would have thunk it then! :o

Would you pick another name?

Posted By radarkitty on Sep 16, 2006 at 11:08PM

You know you CAN if you really really wanted to. I think?! But say you are just signing up, would you now pick a different name? For example, had I really thought about how much time I spend on here, I probably wouldn't have picked radarkitty. I would have gone by something else. I just didn't know how addicted I would get! What about you?
